Renault duo Nico Hulkenberg and Jolyon Palmer have joined the list of drivers with engine penalties this weekend. New components are fitted to their cars on Saturday morning.

Hulkenberg will take 10-place penalty for running a new MGU-H. While Palmer will take a 15-place drop for a new turbocharger and MGU-H.

The changes for the Renault works team come after customer outfit Red Bull has made changes for this weekend.

Max Verstappen, who originally set for a 15-place penalty, will now move back 20 places. He is taking a new turbocharger for final practice.

Daniel Ricciardo is already moving back 25 places for a change of power unit and gearbox this weekend.

Other drivers who are taking penalties are Toro Rosso’s Carlos Sainz, who is moving back 10 places for a new MGU-H, and Fernando Alonso who is to drop 35 places.

It means that there are currently six drivers who will suffer grid penalties.
