Toyota #7 (Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi, Stéphane Sarrazin) leads at the 24 Hours of Le Mans after three hours of the race.

Kamui Kobayashi built up almost 30 seconds advantage on the sister #8 car (Sébastien Buemi, Anthony Davidson, Kazuki Nakajima).

“It was a good first stint. I was just basically controlling things, keeping up a steady pace and trying not to do anything silly. The track is quite dirty so you have to be careful not to get picked up; I had to learn that in the first stint. All in all, the car is good and we just keep chipping away”, Mike Conway said.

The #1 Porsche clawed back time on Anthony Davidson in third position. A little bit after the fourth hour started, he moved into second place.

“I had a good start and moved up to second position. But then we lost a lot of time in the slow zones. I just hope we don’t have one again in the fast Porsche corners section”, Neel Jani explained.
