Sebastian Vettel was fastest in the second free practice before the Hungarian Grand prix. The Ferrari driver’s best time was 1:16.834min. Only he and Max Verstappen registered times under 1:17min. The other Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo, who was fastest in FP1, took third in FP2.
Kimi Raikkonen with the second Ferrari was fourth while the Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas were again fifth and sixth.

There were more incidents during that practice as the circuit was still green. Its temperature reached a little over 50 degrees. In the final half hour clouds gathered above Hungaroring. There was a nearby storm but it never reached the circuit although Hamilton even saw lightings.

There were serious problems with traffic during the whole practice session. Many of the drivers were obviously displeased and even angry with their colleagues. That means that Q1 on Saturday will be even more complicated than usual as everybody will try to find a gap.
