Hamilton took over the new F1 W09 from Valtteri Bottas after he did not drive in the previous two days. Mercedes decided not to change settings on Tuesday and finished the day with their Finnish driver. Yesterday there was practically no running because of snow at the circuit.

Today’s weather was cold in the morning but the conditions became better during the day. 5 of the teams ran in practice with both of their drivers – Mercedes, Williams, McLaren, Renault, Sauber.

Pierre Gasly (Toro Rosso) was busiest with 147 laps. Vettel did 120 while Vandoorne covered 110. Kevin Magnussen (Haas) was close to the 100-mark with 96 laps.
