FIM has confirmed the 24-bike entry list for the 2018 MotoGP championship.
While the identities of the 24 participants had already been revealed, it does confirm official team names and rider numbers for the forthcoming campaign.
After several shuffles among top teams over the 2016/17 winter break, there is very little movement prior to 2018, with Honda, Ducati, Yamaha and Suzuki factory teams retaining their current pairings.
There will be four rookies on the grid, with Marc VDS taking on an all-new line-up in the form of Moto2 champion Franco Morbidelli and secondary class veteran Tom Lüthi.
Avintia, meanwhile, has recruited Xavier Siméon, while Takaaki Nakagami has joined LCR Honda on a second machine, the team’s expansion accounting for the additional bike on the 2018 grid.
Elsewhere, current Marc VDS pair Jack Miller and Tito Rabat will link up with Ducati-affiliated Pramac and Avintia respectively, the former replacing Aprilia-bound Scott Redding.
Current MotoGP riders Héctor Barberá, Loris Baz and Sam Lowes will all move to different categories in 2018.
