Latvala fastest in Sardinia’s shakedown
“The car is working very well and I am really satisfied with the setup. It will be a difficult race, we will see how the rain will effect, for us it is a disadvantage, while for the shakedown at the end it did not influence a lot the conditions since the grip was perfect”, Latvala said.
“The grip was ok during shakedown the i20 is ok. I am very curious to see how this rain will change the stages tomorrow morning”, Paddon added.
Meanwhile, Lappi explained: “We have the same set up as in Argentina and Portugal, at the shakedown our Yaris went well. We will see tomorrow when the rain will influence our performance, no problem with the grip during shakedown.”
We really want to get a good result here and reverse the current trend.
Feeling was really good at the shakedown this morning and I really hope we can continue like that over the weekend. #SISU #RallyItaliaSardegna #WRC #TGR_WRC pic.twitter.com/XY66vbDWVo— Jari-Matti Latvala (@JariMattiWRC) June 7, 2018
