It proved the ultimate test of horsepower. Professional barrel racer Jackie Ganter on four legs took on MotoGP rider Marc Marquez on two wheels. The unlikely, high-paced challenge took place at Dripping Springs Ranch in the state of Texas. And there could only be one winner.
Jackie Ganter is a professional barrel racer, a traditional rodeo event in which horse and rider have to ride around three barrels in a cloverleaf pattern in the quickest time possible. She is arguably the sport’s most up-and-coming star and burst onto the scene as the sport’s female rookie of the year back in 2015.

Ganter walked Marquez through the sport of barrel racing and then proceeded to run her way through the course on her horse Gatsby, allowing the Spanish motorbike rider to try his hand at beating her time on two wheels on a Honda CRF450 dirt bike.
