Sebastian Vettel was fastest during the second day of the first Formula 1 pre-season test. The Ferrari’s driver best time was 1:19.673min. Valtteri Bottas of Mercedes was second, at 0.303 sec. Stoffel Vandoorne (McLaren) was third fastest, at 0.652sec.
The second day of the test began with very low temperatures. It snowed last night but the weather cleared in time for practice. Still, the low temperatures made running quite pointless so there was not much work during the first half of the Tuesday.

Lunch break was cancelled so that the teams could continue with their programs. That was the reason for the change of plans at Mercedes. Lewis Hamilton had to drive in the afternoon but the team decided to not lose time and Bottas concluded practice for the champions.
Vettel made most laps of all 11 drivers who took part in the Tuesday’s test – 98
