Marc Marquez held his nerve to battle past Italian duo Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone at the Aragon Grand prix to extend his 2018 MotoGP title lead. He started down in third place on the grid, however soon benefitted from a lap-one Jorge Lorenzo incident which saw the Ducati rider dislocate a toe.
The reigning champion exchanged the lead with his 2017 title rival Dovizioso until late on when the Suzuki of Iannone joined them for an exciting finish.
