The young Spanish driver opens a new chapter in his career after previously racing in Formula 2.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>The 20-year-old driver, hailing from Barcelona, joins Cupra Kiro after two seasons in Formula 2. There, he established himself as one of the most promising young talents in the F1 support series<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Marti began his career in single-seater racing cars in 2021. At that time, he finished third in the Spanish Formula 4 and in Formula Regional Asia. After that, he moved to Formula 3 with the Campos Racing team.<\/p>\n<p>After winning three races and four podiums in his second season in F3, Marti transitioned to Formula 2 in 2024 and is once again part of Campos Racing. Since then, he has achieved four victories and eight podiums to his name. For the past two years, Marti has been part of the Red Bull junior team.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am very excited to join Cupra Kiro for the 2025\/26 Formula E season,\u201d said Marti. \u201cIt will obviously be my first participation in this category, and I will be a rookie. However, I am looking forward to it. The team enters season 12 after a victory in Jakarta. &#8220;I feel very motivated to start this new chapter.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Marty will be teammates with another former Red Bull prot\u00e9g\u00e9 &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/clubs1.net\/news\/tiktam-ostava-v-kiro-race-co-osthe-edin-sezon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dan Ticktum<\/a>. Earlier this week, the Brit extended his contract with the team he has been racing for for several seasons.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I have Dan [Ticktum] as my teammate. I will have a lot to learn and catch up on at the beginning of the season. &#8220;My goal is to catch up, to improve quickly, to earn points, and to hope to achieve some good results,&#8221; added the 20-year-old driver.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>With his joining Cupra Kiro, Marti will begin an immediate transition to Formula E. This way, he will become the fifth Spanish driver to have competed in the series. So far, this has been done by Jaime Alguersuari, Oriol Servia, Antonio Garcia, and Roberto Merhi.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Marti will make his debut for Cupra Kiro during the preseason tests at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia next week. After that, he will participate in the first round of the 2025\/26 season on the streets of S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPepe&#8217;s joining Cupra Kiro marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the team,\u201d said Russell O&#8217;Hagan. \u201cAlthough he is only 20 years old, Pepe has demonstrated exceptional maturity, composure, and intelligence. This, combined with his natural speed, makes him one of the most talented drivers in modern motorsport.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis decision to withdraw from Formula 2 and fully commit to our Formula E project is a true declaration of his intentions.
