Sebastian Vettel was fastest in the third free practice before qualifying for the Italian Grand prix. Lewis Hamilton was just 0.081sec slower than him. Kimi Raikkonen with the second Ferrari and Valtteri Bottas of Mercedes took the third and fourth positions.

The session went through calmly. The Monza circuit was almost dry after the morning rain but there were still wet patches. There were a couple of offs but fortunately no serious incidents.

Vettel fastest in FP3 in Italy
Vettel was fastest on the super soft tyres. The next three times were also given with the softest compound. Max Verstappen took fifth. He had an interesting program and was battling for some time with the soft tyres. Even medium appeared but it was for a very short time.
